Ant-Man Director Peyton Reed Talks First Cut, Deleted Scenes, Post-Credits Scenes

Jul 15, 2015 | Ant-Man |

“When it got down to the first day of Lola calling up and saying ‘OK we’re gonna present our first shot’ – we always had notes on the shots and made them better, but that first one, which was still a work in progress, I almost, and actually may have, started crying that day saying ‘Oh they did it! Oh My God!’ There was such a joy in that visual effects review. And they really did it! I mean the textures of the skin and everything – and also, we weren’t taking some nobody actor and shaving 25 years off of them, this is Michael Douglas, everybody in the world, I mean everybody knows what he looked like in that era, so that was the most challenging, but I do think we delivered.”
